injector
OK, I have found that there is two types of injectors for the 1st gen
there is a 6btaa injector designed for the industrial Cummins motor, they are tested at 190/210 hp, i have installed a set in one of my trucks, started the truck with the 6btaa injector, i noticed as soon as I took off, black smoke poured out the back, this is without modifications done to the pump.
Put the originals back in and there was no more smoke, my dyno is screwed up, so I cant give actual readings.I will send off a set to a buddy of mine to get me some specs on these things.
when i look this up in Cummins, it shows my injectors are for a 6bt, then when i look up the other injector it shows for 6BTAA, Cummins wont give me any specs for these.

if cummins isn't giving you any kind of info it's deffinately not something that is supposed to be on the road... poke around and find out what pistons go with that injector number... there was a guy asking about possible marine cams on the first gen forum... i could build me a boat engine to put in the truck
