I cut the bracket off with a 4" angle grinder so that I could get at it with a wrench. Worked good, but I would recommend taking the bracket off the truck first, then cutting it. Dangerous to cut so close to the fuel lines. If you cut it, you can take it apart on the side of the road with nothing but a crescent wrench, remove stuck plunger, and be on your way. I got lucky and mine quit working while the truck was parked in the garage.

Oh, and I was just looking through the smilies. WTF is this?

I work at a dodge dealer and tried getting a solenoid. they have discontinued them, and there are none left in any of the dealerships nationwide. You wouldnt want one anyways because my price was $505.

Whacha talkin bout Kieron? We're talking about first gen solenoids that cost $10 off eBay.

If any of you guys want just the plungers out of the solenoids for whatever reasons, or the O-rings, I have some that I'll sell for cheap.
