Is there a kit out there to eliminate the A/C pump? mine is seized and its not getting hooked up so i would like to get rid of it

 

just get a belt for a engine that didnt have A/c from the factory and there ya go A/C deleted...but if you want to just take it off...go for it but you might want to have the system drained so you dont have it pressurized when you take it apart...or you could just use bolt cutters for releaving some pressure the epa frowns on this FYI

 

Yeah just get a belt for your year truck with no A/C. Then if you come across a good deal on a A/C pump you can fix it.

 

That's what I did to mine.

Took off the pump, turned the conditioner condenser into a tranny cooler, made a custom dashplate, am a long ways towards removing all the unnecessary wires.

 

Forgot all about that option thanks guys
