my truck did about the same thing. i had a line sucking air and the screen in the tank was clogged. do you know if it was blowing white smoke

Injection pump is bad, the lift pump was going bad (ran fine til it got a load on it) and i think it cooked the injection pump.......he could hear the lift pump bypassing in the diaphram.........its going to Diesel Specialists sometime this week to get looked at, Dad replaced the lift pump and the fuel filter......It wouldnt start and no fuel is coming out of the injection pump......i told him to pull the kill solenoid and check it just to make sure it didnt break and get stuck in the kill position......



and the truck's engine is as stock as the day it rolled off the lot
