Default Under fueled?

specs;
'93 dodge w350 duallie 4x4 5spd 3" turbo back pipe, big cone air filter

Here's my question guys.. should i be really looking into this? bad or not so bad.

Now that I've had a little time to dig into this truck I got I took a look at the pump;
smoke screw is about 3/4 of the way in
star wheel is all the way down
the fuel pin has the deep side pointed towards the front(radiator IC)
full power screw is sitting against the collar.
new fuel filter etc.

BUT the way all this is set shouldn't i see some smoke aside from start up? runs fine, turbo seems to have a little lag since i don't really hear it much till it's over half throttle or i'm hauling something, would this be a candidate for low fuel pressure or really worn injectors?

Hows teh fuel filter? With teh smoke screw and star wheel down that much it should smoke a little before the turbo gets lit. Do you pick up any power when you did all this?

Fuel filter is new as of yesterday. all I have done to it was rotate the fuel pin a bit, and yes i noticed the turbo kick up a bit faster. the most I've seen is a very light haze if i dog it in 4th a bit, or a tiny little puff when i rev it before the turbo spools

You should be able to make black smoke if you are punching it to the floor at low rpm in 4th with the mods you got,till the turbo spools up and burns the fuel.I/C trucks got small injectors.Get an EGT gauge and some larger injectors for more power.(And smoke)

Well, the turbo spools up fairly quick if I punch it in a high gear at low speed/rpm.. looks like injectors are up next haha. and yeah EGT and boost gauges will be in it within a week.

now i'm bummed, I was gonna turn it up for this weekend for show but it was already pretty cranked. aside from all that it's pretty peppy for what it is.. and LOVE towing with it so far.
