I know with 370's and the 60mm comp. wheel, the EGT's get out of control quick, above 3K RPM. If he doesn't tow it would probably be fine, but I believe if the money is going to a better turbo, spend it in a better turbo, not just upgrading the stock H1C.

An HX40 should be a very good turbo for a truck under 400rwhp, towing or not. They won't break the bank either.

edit:

Well the denntyT is $105 and the HC Upgrad housing and 60mm wheel is $225 so thinkg about getting them both and than getting the dual pillar holder and get a pyro combo and tranny temp guage.
I would do gauges first, then 3200 spring, then fuel pump mods, then when your EGT's are out of control start to worry about a turbo upgrade of some sort.

Get the gauges out the way first. EGT, Boost, Fuel Pressure, Tranny Temp

Well's here my idea now:

4" Straight pipe(on its way)
Upgrade housing with 60mm wheel
Double and single gague pillar with EGT/Boost(combo), Tranny temp, Fuel PSI
DennyT Stage 2 pin
2 Turns on pump
Cold air intake of some sort(yall wanna help me out on that one?)

I appercaie all critiszim, help, info and yall are more experianced so I take yall seriously as I need to keep the reliabilty as high as possilbe, tow my mud truck and other items with easy and alittle smoke here and there and keep up my great gas mileage(filled up yesterday 407 miles and only used 22 gallons so about 18mpg, keeps getting better and better ever time I fill up)

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

4" straight pipe showed up today, work at 5:00, but tommrow off so its getting put on tommrow after school!

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I think im just going to go with thesse, what yall think? Just plan on some mild upgrades nothing over the top and just plan on towing my mud truck not very often and hauling a pallet a salt a few times an what not.

eer... I feel they are both important, If I had to choose one though I would say Fuel.

I run those Isspros in my 06 and have the EGT and Boost in my 89 and like them

all of my gauges come from Performance Gauges & Gauge Pods GlowShift Gauges - Boost Wideband Air Fuel Gauges, i bought their digital gauges, and like stated above......Fuel pressure, tachometer, tranny, boost/pyro combo......im going to install them on my 93 and also verify their accuracy with my autometers i got for my pulling truck......

I would go with the ASA Modifieds air intake for the truck if i was you, PDR sells it.....and its only 200 bucks.....

my 90 model truck had the pump cranked to max and i wasnt running gauges cause i never loaded it heavy or towed anything really, and i let it set for about 5 minutes idling after i got done running it hard, so i didnt bother with them......not saying that its the brightest idea but yeah......
