06-07 seats hold up better than the 03-05. Its easy to modify the foam as well. My guess is that a Dudes *** is heavier than the girl driving the Gen.1....so she would be fine. Just gut your seats and modify the brackets to fit new ones. Ask Bill Mish, a.k.a Wildcat for details...he knows everything, and if he doesnt know...he bullshits his way through it.

Thats crazy! I had an 04 that was violating me on rough roads... you can take loose the hog rings under the seat, and go to an upholstery shop and get firm memory foam....it worked great to cure my post prison feeling after a long trip.

logan, violence is not the answer. a rosebud torch makes metal a lot easier to form!

and I LOOOVE the captains chairs in my 93. the passenger side kinda sucks because of how it's mounted; but since I never ride in that one, I've never made my own bracket/hinge for it.

I think the 95-99 cloth seats from the GM trucks are really comfortable and better than that generation of leather seats; and the '00 and newer GM leather seats are even more wonderful.

I was happy with the seats in my '96 ram, mine needed new padding in the seat because it'd just gotten old, I considered having some nice memory foam put in there by an upholstery shop but sold the truck.
