Default Tachometer hookup to SBEC for Gen I

The SBEC controller is where you will need to go to make your splice into the lead-out wire of pinout #43. This should be the Gray/Lt. Blue wire.

The 91.5's did not have the factory provisions for the tach. If your truck has the crank position sensor then you should have the factory plug. The 92 and 93's had them.
Here is a diagram I have.

i got a 1993, i ordered the Glowshift digital tach, along with a bunch of other gauges for the truck yesterday.......here is all i got:

tach
tranny temp
fuel pressure
boost/pyrometer combo gauge

im also got a double and a single pillar pod and a steering column single pod, the ones from the 94+ trucks will work on the 93 models, maybe the 92's also......

Will the gloshift tach read the 5 volt signal the computer puts out? Some of the tachs will not read that low of a voltage. As far as the column pod it will fit as long as it is a tilt wheel.
