how do you hook one up on a 91.5-93 1st gen truck??? i know there is a article out there for it but i cant find it.....

Tachometer hookup to SBEC for Gen I

The SBEC controller is where you will need to go to make your splice into the lead-out wire of pinout #43. This should be the Gray/Lt. Blue wire.

i found out where its located....i also got my gauge pod question answered....and i finally got pictures of my new truck.....

The 91.5's did not have the factory provisions for the tach. If your truck has the crank position sensor then you should have the factory plug. The 92 and 93's had them.

i got a 1993, i ordered the Glowshift digital tach, along with a bunch of other gauges for the truck yesterday.......here is all i got:
tach tranny temp fuel pressure boost/pyrometer combo gauge im also got a double and a single pillar pod and a steering column single pod, the ones from the 94+ trucks will work on the 93 models, maybe the 92's also...... |
Will the gloshift tach read the 5 volt signal the computer puts out? Some of the tachs will not read that low of a voltage. As far as the column pod it will fit as long as it is a tilt wheel.:choochoo:
