Wipers Stopped Working….AGAIN!
Like the title says…my wipers stopped working again.
This time though it appears I have no power to the wiper motor. At least not when I put the meter between the Dark Blue wire and ground when I turned on the wiper switch.
Yes…I checked the fuse, even swapped it out with another one. It is good.
This leads me to one of 2 options:
1. The wiper relay (where is that located anyway?).
2. The multi-function switch on the steering column itself.
Both of these are original to the truck.
I COULD just replace them both I guess but I’d think it would be best to trace the power wire before I do.
Then there’s the issue of getting those pesky T-20 tamper-proof screws that hold the switch in. I’d have to buy that bit for just a 1-time use.
