Good morning thanks for the help in advance and the cool site. I’m looking to buy a 1990 4x4 Cummins 5 speed. It has compound turbos and a VE pump. Seller states it made 743 hp and it’s out of state. So it’s gonna take a 6 hour drive to go pick up drive home or trailer home. I’m new to high performance diesel but a life long hot rodder. My research has netted there’s no way it’s making that kind of power with. VE pump. Is my noob assumption correct? Are compound turbos even a safe tune with a VE pump?
