5spd shifting. speed range for each gear

I just recently picked up a built 1991 D350 and I love it. No tachometer so I'm just curious what which speeds i should be shifting in ?
(Ex: shift from 2nd to 3rd at 30mph)

Shift by what you hear from the engine and throttle position rather than a set speed.
