Question 1991 dodge w250 wont start

I have my truck at the body shop getting painted. I tried to crank it up to move it and I have nothing happening. No wait to start light, no fan motor, no radio lights, no key buzzer, no halo light, no relays clicking nothing. I checked the fuses and they are good. I do have power at the hazard lights fuse but that's all. Up til now I have absolutely no problems with this truck electrically. Could we have blown a fusible link or damaged the ignition switch somehow? I know we had the doors open for really long periods of time while working on it but I didnt think it would hurt anything. Maybe its coincidence that it happened now. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Have you checked the voltage at the battery? I'd say start there and work your way to the ignition switch.Use a meter, not a test light. Everything should read 12.5-12.6V with a charged up battery. Good luck and I hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply. I will put what I found so it may help someone else. I started checking from the battery back. I checked fusible links, fuses all the way to ignition switch.Had power into the switch but not on yellow and blue leaving the switch. Put in a new ignition switch, tested again,,Bam same problem. This is where I realized my mistake. I was using a test light instead of a meter. The test light I was using (that is now in the trash) would light up at 1.5V. I was chasing ghosts thinking I was on the right path. I used my meter and found the issue really fast. There is a plug-in connector in the big cable leaving the battery that all the fusible links branch out of. I had 12.6v on one side of the connector and 1.5v on the other side of it. Pulled connector apart and it had LOTS of corrosion in it. Cleaned it with small wire brush, reconnected it and had full voltage everywhere. Simple things can kick you a** sometimes I guess. Hope this helps someone in a similar situation.
