Default how do you destroy a drive shaft?!!!?

I dont know how it happened but my drive shaft has met a sudden death! Its been in little rock for a week waiting on the parts to be delivered so the guy can rebuild it.... apparently some previous owner had installed the wrong carrier bearing, crushed the slip yolk (its a two piece), and beat in every end while replacing new u joints! And the grand total is 455 bucks!and with all the snow and ice slowing transport and its been over a week.... this sucks!!!!

Carrier Bearing -$138
4 U-Joints- $82.64
Slip yolk- $50

Total- $270.64

Piece of mind from making sure you made it all better? Priceless.
