My trip and odometer stopped working after I reset my trip meter i'm sure the gears are stripped due to age and being brittle, how difficult is it to replace the gears? And any suggestions where to purchase them? Thanks

 

It is a little pain in the *** but can be done I found my gears on line for about 40 bucks but now my drive motor went out. I will look for the website When I get home. When you do this get you some 194 bulbs and replace the burnt bulbs while your in there

 

Never reset the trip while the truck is moving forward. Old and brittle or brand new, that shears the teeth right off of the gear.
