on the 88 used the stock dodge alt and a/c, on the 94 i am looking for the freightliner factory high mount a/c brackets or may go with the autoworld mounts as it is already engineered. need to use the 6.5 alt as it has the tach feed signal built in. don't need the heater out here.speedo have not figured that out yet, just using my gps for now.

hey if i use the whole dodge motor mounts... do i need to cut the sheet metal that the chevy frame mounts were bolted to off? if i cut them off or grind them offf it looks like ill have clearance to bolt the motor in... other wise the studs wont clear them from the factory dodge mounts... do i have to drill a hole after words for the dodge studs to go through as well? thanks

decided to get my *** back to work and pull this dodge apart, clean up block and head as best as possible since it had a 1/4" of dirt oil grease and grime on it, prime and paint it... gonna do bigger injectors, a bigger new shiny turbo and some billet valve covers later... kinda half assed painting it but its my work truck so yeah also made motor mounts using all of the dodge mounts minus the brackets that bolted to the block.. used some 1/4" sheet, drilled the holes out and welded to those after i took the brackets that bolt to the isolators and cut off the 8 holes so the motor would drop lower then welded them to the 1/4" sheet i made that bolts to the block.. dropped it in and the cummins sits anout 2 inches lower than originally... ill get some more pics 2mrw.. just need to do down pipe, radiator, core support and all the wiring/plumbing.. gonna prolly do the kdp pin fix while im there as well... oh and srry about the shitty spatter on the mounts.. it was so windy outside welding them they turned out like **** no one will see them so i dont care i would of welded them in the garage but i havent finished my addition yet so the 220 isnt working in there yet, only working off the house at the moment hence why i was welding outside
