Trans length question

Anyone know the length of the 518 2wd (727w o/d)
getrag 360 2wd

trying to see if my driveshaft will work when i replace the 518 with the 360.

I swapped my 518 to a getrag in my 1993 dodge and the getrag was shorter, my truck was 4x4 though, but I assume the 2wd would be the same case

I cant remember the exact specs right now but it was enough that I had to have my driveline extended. I can tell you exactly how much shorter next weekend.

Hey, I measured the transmissions this weekend and the A518 was about 31.5 inches from the front of the bellhousing to the tail shaft and the Getrag was about 27 inches.
