Default 93 cummins tuning

hey guys new here, have had the truck for a while, been messing with the pump, just a few questions, when i down the star wheel, cw more fuel, u always have to adjust your smoke screw setting correct? to clear up low end?, also with doing this everytime you adjust your star wheel down (cw) u are goin to have less spring tension there for you need more boost to push fuel pin down? what im tryin to get to is by doing all of this, do you loose power @ wot at top end? seem to not have that much power up there. and also truck is all stock accept denny t 2 fuel pin cold air, an straight pipe. any clarification would be awsome goin to do some more tuning today want to find the sweet spot .

I have my smoke screw backed all the way out as high as it will go. The higher the starwheel (ccw) the longer it takes to get full fuel. If you have the starwheel cw all the way down it will fuel right away. I would back the smoke screw all the way out and back off the starwheel a bit at a time until you get what you want. All trucks are different.

I wouldn't recommend bottoming it out. Makes it spool slower and just dumps fuel into it. I'm just in the process of getting my pyrometer fixed and i'll be turning the full power screw in a turn or so, and probably have the star wheel as high as it will go after that.

That reminds me I'm probably due for a valve adjustment as well!
