ok so im lookin at a 93 cummins donor truck but its a 2wd and have a 97 4wd silverado that has no motor or trans in it ...perfect right? ..so i know i need a 4wd tranny from a cummins and i need to fab engine mounts and trans crossmembers ..but what else do i NEED has anyone here done this swap? any help is appreciated ..thanx in advance..

 

Go find yourself a W350 or a W250 out of a old farmers field, Get all the trans, transfer case, shifters, driveshafts, front and rear axles, and the crossmember. And the trans cover inside the cab.
Cut and fit as needed....

 

remember to fix the kdp with the motor out and on the stand is perfect time to do this fix
