Default needs some info on turbo's

i got a 91 first gen daully 4x4 5 speed N/I, i got ddp injectors,air dog 150, bully dog fuel pin and 3200 bosch gov. spring, and the STOCK h1c turbo and ive done went threw 4 of them and im looking to upgrade anybody have any thoughts on what to go with on a low budget (hx35,he351)etc.?

IMO the ones you have listed are good options and I would go with an HE351CW myself.

i was looking at the he351cw but what is the electronic hookup on the front of the turbo for? do i bypass that or just leave it alone?

Don't buy a turbo off ebay unless you can verify it is a genuine Holset.

You can put a mechanical wastegate instead of an electronically controlled wastegate on the CW.

The sensor on the compressor housing of an HE351cw is a boost sensor, as used on the 2004.5 through 2007 5.9 trucks.
You can leave it as is, or remove it and plug the hole.

The HE351cw uses a pressure-activated waste gate, so there are no electronics to make it function.

HE351CW is ideal for the low rpm fueling curve of the VE pump. We have hx40 and he351 downpipes for the 1st gen.

Depending on what injectors you have you may need to step up to a s300 turbo with upgraded internals.. the he351 should be support about the same HP and a super B turbo
