You won't see many standard cab W350's for sale, and when you do if there nice it will be in the 12-18k range, if there rusty and dented they will be 5-8k.

if the ride quality bothers you you probly should buy something different, they ride rough.

"Rough" ain't the word!
1st Gen Standard Cab 4x4s, I have dubbed "Jumping Rams", because if you drive them down the highway and hit anything half serious for a bump, they JUMP.
A 2wd Standard Cab is much easier on people, for highway use.

Mark.

Go with the Moog SuperDuty front springs....I believe they are the 7660's, Measure your spring when they come in and write down the inside dia. and the outside dia., they're only about $140 for the pair. Then order a set of the spring isolators from Energy Suspension, that'll add 1/4" on the top and on the bottom. With these springs on a 2WD D350, you'll have the width of your hand between the front wheels and the lip of the fender. Its a good idea with these springs to put in new balljoints and A-arm bushing from EnergySuspension....will improve the ride and will last longer. Just put it together with a dab of silicone grease, will keep them from sqeaking. You'll be up as high as the stock front end will allow. If you want a 4X4, get the drivetraine out of a W350, axles (front with springs), crossmember, transfer case, trans, and driveshafts, and convert your 2wd to a 4wd. My 2wd is raised, I have a heavy bumper up front with a #16,000 winch. You hit a soft spot with that Cummins under the hood, you'll sink. I'm gonna be swapping mine over this year, going to a 4x4 as to cut down on my winch usage....
