Default Question about an 89' 5.9 rebuild

It's time to re ring the beast. I figured while I had it apart I might as well do some other upgrades. This is my first tear down on the 1st gen. Anyone got any suggestions on other upgrades while its down?

I did the hammilton cam 24v tappets and arp rod bolds. stress relieved the rods. that was about it on the lower when i built mine.

Stud things while your got her down. Also, get a three piece exhaust manifold, not really for performance, it does help a little, but more foe sealing and agianst cracking a stock manifold.
Get a good quality rebuild kit....these folks are good and helpful.....
Chrysler/Dodge engine rebuild kit and Chrysler/Dodge Master Engine Rebuild Kits | parts

If you plan on a performance motor, go with a good mild cam....you won't regret it, if you do alot of towing and for performance work.

perfect time for to fix the kdp!!! hate to have to tear back into that fresh motor once you get her done
