Default Tranny patern

Does the Cummins have the same bolt pattern and would it hook up to a 727 Torqueflight ?
I have an old Dodge camper with a 440 in it and I would like to put a Cummins in it. If not what would be the simplest tranny(2wd) to use with a Cummins. The camper weighs 14,000 lbs.

Nope, BB bolt pattern won't fit.

Will the chassis and engine bay work without major mods, or is this a no-holds-barred no-fab-job-too-tricky type build?

Let's just say I have a welder and a torch and it can be done....: )
The newer trannys with electronics is what I am not sure about. Looking for a tranny that has minimal to no electronics to deal with, has OD , will bolt to the Cummins and can handle the weight.

Sorry too far away to help, have an Allison AT 545 off a 93. Requires an SAE bell housing
You should be able to find them fairly easily, mine came out of a F600 with a 160 Hp 12V. They are rated just above a fairly stock 5.9 12V but knowing Allisons they can take a fair amount of work.
Cheers Steve
