Actually now that i think about it, when i got the truck i filled it up to 1/4 tank. I drove it 50 miles home. And another 20 miles once i got it licensed. The gauge moved a hair the whole time. I changed the fuel filter and forgot to pour any diesel in the new one. Since then its sucked down fuel. Even after i deleted the fuel heater and switched to the wix 33472 filter without the water in fuel sensor
This is the same exact thing i did and have a knock now! I believe you told me about the delete kit!! I was in a hurry also and didnt fill the filter and now it knocks and is harder to start when cold! I started another thread about this also!! Im going to try and bleed the injecters!

I only bleed 3 lines to restart my truck's engine when I run out of fuel and I don't have these problems on restart.

Weird. Well mine sucks down a lot of fuel, no knock mind you, but that's because my foot is always in the throttle heavily.
