To swap engines or not to that is the question?
ok so pic shows the area of the back of the block an flex plate there is a crack that goes down behind it but not above it.....advice should I use this engine its a VE Pumped 93 12 Valve with about 250k miles it ran fine when I began the tear down an tonight while looking at area to run my fuel line an misc parts I noticed that Crack......So use this or go to a later say 96ish P Pump engine an get a 47rh along with it?

The rear main seal is in a big aluminum housing behind the flex plate. that's what is cracked. but honestly man swapping engines would be easier then swapping all the hardware.

I thoughtso at first too but if you look closely the flex plate has triangle shaped holes in it n the crack is in one of them holes.
i was thinkin that was aluminum was a late night full of a bad mood for me wasnt thinkin much...so how much of a pain in the **** is that to do the rear main seal plate?
Least there is hope for the VE Pumped dream
