Default New to me 1992 D350 Extended Cab Cummins

Got rid of the 1991.5 first Gen and totaled out my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 V6, thanks to an alcoholic meth head ex-con. About to be the proud owner of a 1992 D350 Extended Cab to be painted All Black and it has a dark grey interior. All the front end has been replaced and redone, polyurethane bushings all the way around the front end, new ball joints, a lot of work done to increase clearance for the fan and radiator, some reason this one had a problem with this. 2wd BTW. Advanced injector pump cam work done. Denny T stuff extensively on this Cummins. All brakes redone. A new torque converter to be installed and the stock one thrown on the ground as soon as I can do it.

Yeah I was thinking that earlier, I knew better, get some up tomorrow. I can't tonight, the current owner is computer illiterate.

Well, my friend's friend flaked out on me and I really did not want the truck to begin with cause it had been ragged out but had a lot of nice work done to it. Oh well, told him to **** off.

I immediately called my family's life long friend that had a 1993 D350 Red Regular Cab and I'm buying it not for the price of $5000 like the Extended Cab Dually, but $1,200.00, that right 1200 bones. It is in much better shape IMHO and the oil was changed every 2,000 miles, this is a 30 year old family friend I knew would not let me down and we have come to terms on the truck already, deal sealed. Here are pics. Not sure when exactly I'm picking it up due to the nature of my settlement with the insurance company but hopefully soon.

Gonna need an alternator and maybe a voltage regulator and obviously a tailgate Oh, an Optima Red Top Battery.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I know it doesn't look like much cause it is sitting, but I promise it will fire right up. It is a true diamond in the rough.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Just found out the Air Conditioning still works too. Dang. It doesn't get much better.

OK, the other person's insurance company declared full responsibility for the accident I had on July 31st, 2012. So the Dodge Cummins is coming home this month! The other person's insurance company's adjuster came by today too and totaled out my truck so I will receive payment on that real soon too. So I got another truck in the bag! My claims on my slipped disks and misaligned vertebrae might take longer, also I have racked up quite a few bills going to the ER and doctors.

Thanks, hope it will be home soon!

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Oh, yeah, found out the tailgate is in storage cause the truck was unhooked and hooked to a gooseneck so often, perfect shape all lights are working on the tailgate, now I don't have to go find one!

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Oh boy, gonna be a long day, have to deal with the Attorney and Insurance Claim Agent. Ugh, hope it goes well, I want to pick up my truck real soon.
