Default Turbo housing horsepower gains

How much horsepower will I gain by putting a 16cm turbine housing on my truck?

over all none but you will make power sooner so that you can use it more effectivly. the 16cm housing is a good upgrade for the stock h1c. if you are going to do something to the h1c i would go for an hx35 or wh1c 12cm gated housing that came on all the 2nd gens and swap to that. you will need a new flange for you down pipe. then it would be a 54/60/12.

Sweet man thanks

Which one is better for the stock h1c? The 14 cm housing or the 16?

you can get into excessive drive pressure issues with non gated housings. the 14 will spool faster for sure. if your truck is nearly stock with no plans on more fuel than you should be fine with a 14.

I have a fuel pin governor spring and I'm going to probably just put stage 1 injectors so I won't have to upgrade the turbo

is your truck intercooled? if it is i would just look at putting an hx or wh1c on it and be done. if yours insnt intercooled it is more of a pain to switch turboes. then i would go with a smaller housing.
