Grid heater help!!
Okay guys I need a hand here. I've been slowly getting the ol girl ready for winter up here in Canada brrrrr. Then today when I got home from work I realized that my wait to start light was on while she was still running. So I shut it off and let it cool off. Then I went out to see if it was better. I turned the key on and the lights came on and went out for a split second the came back on. While this was happening the gird heater didn't cycle. So I tried a couple more time by cycleing the key. Then I poped under the hood with a test light and found the two wires on the rear of the grid heater had no power with the key on or off. I'm not sure how to jump it off the battery. Can I just put power to one the connectors and see if it cycles or warms up? Thanks for the help guys.

That I can't tell you but it has to be a similar setup. Trace wires from your grid and see where they lead. This thread may help you out.....https://www.dieselbombers.com/dodge-...id-heater.html

So I found the relay set up. And I jumped them and try all turn on and my grid heater warms right up. I know the PCM controls this by giving it a ground once the key on gives it power. I have also been having problems with my water in fuel and wait to start lights flashing randomly. Also my volt gauge bouncing all over the place even after I replaced the voltage regulator And altinator. Is there a way to fix the PCM? Or do I need a new One?
Tomorrow im going to check my stupid fuse able links. Hopefully it's one of those.
