Id go off your gut man. If the person seems honest and everything looks ok go for it. I always go fr first impressions how they shoe it to you is it real dirty or clean and decent. I went and looked at a 95 with some stuff done to it yesterday the kid had it less than two months and decided he didn't like the diesel thing and the truck had problems he spent more money worrying about dumb stuff like aftermarket head lights and twilights than fix the oil leak

Thats just it, he was a young kid in his mid twenties but he seemed like he knew his stuff. he had the truck for over four years and needed the money for a project 01 24 valve that he was building. It was also his daily driver and he went about 50 miles a day with it and had no problems.

 

Yeah wen I say hound kid I mean like 16..im 21 but I have a full time job I need mu vehicle running I. Tip top shape. If he's building a 24 valve id say its mechanically good. Just go of your instincts we can tell you all day yes or no but in the end its your money
