does anyone know what a '95 3500 cab & cassis truck would have for a transfer case? its a automatic, i know the regular autos run the 241DLD 23 spline case, but where this is a cab & chassis would it have the 241dhd 29 spline case? the truck is an hour or so away at a junk yard, and they have no idea what it has for a t-case nor will they go look at the tag, and i dont want to drive all the way up there to find out its a regular 241DLD case.

 

I've never heard of an auto using a 29 spline ever...

 

yeah same hear, but where its a cab & chassis with i believe an 11,500 gvw seems like it would have all the hd parts.

 

I doubt it. If it has a Chrysler transmission it almost has to be 23 spline. It might not even have a Dana 80 rear.
