Default Bad Shake

First off, I am new to the forum.

I have been experiencing some shaking issues on hard accelerations with my newly purchased '97 Cummins. Background Info: Dually, 3" lift, #4 fuel plate, intake, exhaust, recently rebuilt auto trans.

Note: The shaking occured before rebuilding the transmission.

The shaking isn't all the time however it always happens on the interstate when I get on it running about 70. Happened for the first time not at highway speeds the other day when I got on it at about 45 and it started the same shake before it eventually shifted. Any ideas?? Is this attributed to the fuel plate?

Also I am thinking about putting the fuel plate back to stock. Recommendations?

But if it was the U Joint wouldn't it shake at times other than speed related?

The truck seems to shake like it can't get enough fuel. Because when it starts to shake I'll have the pedal all the way to the floor yet it won't accelerate.

check your OFV.if you have a weak spring in there to much fuel is returning to your tank and starving your pump. and since this is a WOT pretty much id def makes sence it could be fuel pressure related. can you put a guage on it and tell us what your readings are at idle and WOT???

If it starts shakin when your put your foot into it then it sounds like more of a fuel issue than a drive train issue to me

I had a fuel line leaking at the fuel heater letting air into the system. Caused what sounds like the same problem.
