Default HX35W different part numbers and difference?

I am finding a few different part numbers for a HX35W turbo and i was wondering what the difference is. they state there rated for either a 180hp or 215hp stock engine and all im seeing in the specs. that are different between the hp ratings is the factory set boost pressure. also a few look to not have the provision for the boost elbow and line coming from the housing.

The only thing is the 215 pump is for a 5 speed which has a 12cm housing. That is a generic way for them to list them. Do you have any pics or the part numbers from the listed turbos.

there are a bunch of them its all the turbos that come up on ebay for round 300 bucks from businesses. i have a 215hp pump that had a manual behind it. but im considering now using an auto behind it. so should i get one specified for the 215 pump still (which all seemed to not have a hole for the boost elbow and line) or a different hx35. it will also be set to 34lbs of boost either way.

I would stay far away from eBay in regards to a turbo. A Wanted to buy on here, or watching for one to come up for sale is much safer. I bought a HX35 from a member on this site two years ago, and it's still going strong.

i am still confused though on which turbo i need. did the 215hp pumps only come behind manuals and why do they not have the (boost reference line or what ever you wanna call it) if so how do you get the desired boost level or keep it from over boosting if you turn the pump up

You definitely wanna keep the 35 with a 12 cm exhaust housing if that's what you have and if you juice it just disconnect the waste gate hose and plug it off. Then you can control the boost by how long you hold down on the skinny pedal

thats the problem this is for a conversion and i dont have a turbo for it. thats why i have no idea what to get...

and what im getting at is any turbo i find of the 215hp p7100 pump doesnt have the waste gate hose or even the provision for it. and i would like to have a "fail safe" as i can be hard on stuff some times. the skinny pedal can become the stupid pedal

I'd look for one off a VP44 engine, in the 2000-2002 years. They should have an external wastegate, and 12cm housing. Differences in trubos described by HP rating could be as simple as the exhaust housing size. 12, 14, 16cm, etc. For a decent spool up and driveability, 12cm is the way to go....IMO
