You can pick up a T3 to T4 adapter on ebay for around 40.00 shipped.

Just wandering what size housing uve got. If it's to big ur not gonna be happy. U might be better off buying a t3 turbine housing of the right number.

Pull the compressor housing and wheel off the hx40 and put it on the Hx35 center with a rebuild kit and then you are in it 70 and 2 extra hours... Make sure you test fit the spring seals if you do it.. The hx40 might only have a 58mm wheel and you have a 56mm wheel now. Hopefully it has the 60mm wheel. At 58mm and the lag of a t4 I wouldnt be happy.. At the least I would buy a 7 blade 60mm wheel from bae turbo systems. The 6 blade wheel is better but you have to machine the backing plate which requires pulling the turbo apart enough that you might as well rebuild it then you might has well use the hx35 center and housing, drill and port the ex housing and feel a nice difference
