Stalling issue
Could be a bad relay for the fuel shut off solenoid and trips randomly? Take the linkage off and wire the lever up and see what happens.

Just make sure you have some side cutters handy

I follow ya, slowly letting the shut off lever drop. I'll have to make sure to see if the lever has dropped when it stalls. But typically you can keep it running with some pressure on the throttle. If work doesn't keep me too busy I'll start working on it this week and see what I can figure out and get accomplished.

Good luck, let us know. Mine FSS woulnt lift the lever but would hold it up if you manually lifted the lever, kinda typical when going out, so I just jerry rigged a choke cable up that I had laying around until my new solenoid gets here.

Turned up the idle, so far the stumble and die is non existent, in gear, foot on the brake and turning the wheel the engine maintains rpm so we're good even when settling back to idle from an rpm spike. We'll see if the abrupt kill shows up again or not. Appreciate the input

Figured out the abrupt stall... Happens when stopped. Figured out the trigger to it all... Let off the brake; truck stalls. Convertor is locking up at a stop when the brake input is removed. Going to start lookin into PCM's.
