I wasnt sure how to word the title, so here it goes.

Rebuilt 33k Ago, Everything except a new VB i believe. Fluid is Clean, and dead nuts on fluid level

9/10 times the tranny operates just as it should, starts in first, goes through the gears, locks up, and downshifts just as it should.

Now, my problem, everyonce and a while while coming to a stop it dosent downshift into first, as soon as i give it throttle, it downshifts into first and operates normaly.

It dosent do this very often, just once in a blue moon

 

I believe my truck does this also, and my tranny is less than 1000 miles fresh. Pulling the hills in my residential neighborhood I shift the truck manually when I'm towing.

When the truck is empty, It doesn't bother me at all, I just let it do what it wants.
