Default Auto to nv5600

I am looking at putting a 6 speed 4x4 in place of my auto 4x4. Does anyone know the length difference between the two. I know the major things that I will need but are there any little hidden changes that are not odvious? I have found one at a reasonable price comes with trans and T case, flywheel, shifter not sure about boot. I will need pedels, clutch hyd. and a clutch. Don't know if the flywheel is for a 13 or 12 1/4 clutch. If it is for a 13 will I have to get a different moter adapter so the starter will work.
Have not seen it went thats why all the questions.

you can use a starter spacer like what southbend sends with their 5 speed dual disk clutchs instead of changing the whole engine plate

on the trans i actually think your 47rh will be about 1-2" longer then the 5600 because they are longer then the 47re which is 3" shorter then the 5600

you will need the linkage for the tcase shifter also because of the length difference

if you dont get the tcase with it then you will have to change the input shaft in your current tcase

yeah we didnt think about it on the 47re to nv5600 swap we did back last summer either, had to wait 3 days on it to come in at dodge

for some reason i'm thinking the 47th is 5" longer then a 47re which is 3" shorter then a nv5600 so thats how i came up with a 2" difference in the lengths

Does the vaccum lines have the same connections? Will I have any trouble with the speedo?

there are no vac lines that run to the nv5600 and the speedo reads off of the rear ring gear

The vac lines I am talking about are on the T case and that is where my speed sensor is also.

Use your same tcase just change the input shaft inside it. Your vac lines will still work. Speed sensor is in the top of the rearend

Sent with my DROID RAZR in one hand and 14,400 volts in the other
