Lower bushing on your tracbar. It bolts right where your lower shock does on the passenger side

X2 That'll clunk quite a bit! Pretty easy to check

 

If you haven't replaced them since factory, New shocks all around wouldn't be a waste of money, help protect your tires from uneven wear and improve ride. If it doesn't get rid of your noise you're still ahead of the game and have eliminated one possibility.

 

So I sprayed the hell out of every bushing and the noise was still there. A few days later it went away. So until it returns I will do nothing, I am guessing it was a bushing, will replace once it comes back. I still am going to replace all shock eventually. Thanks for the help!

 

Jack it up and check for wheel play. If none then that rules out ball joints or wheel bearings

 

check the lower shock bushing...was chasing a clunk in a buddys truck and it wasnt till he jumped on the bumper and i watched there was play in the lower shock bushing making the clunk...

 

Yea the squeak came back, so I am going to jack it up this weekend and narrow down this squeak, it is driving me crazy.

 

Unfortunately there always seems to be something wrong with our front axles Its inevitable

 

Check your control arm bushings on the front end. Also check the sway bar end links on the front and back of the truck. I had a rattle on bumps for years and could not locate anything on the front of the truck. hopped under it one day and it was the passenger side rear sway bar link

 

What is a good choice for shocks that are also a good price? Thinking about a 2 inch lift, what you think?
