Hey guys. So I was wondering if this would be too much power for my 95 3500 for the stock torque converter and tranny. Currently I have a cold air intake with a 4 inch straight pipe but I was hoping to get away with tuning my AFC and getting a fuel plate and some 3k gov. springs. The tranny was rebuilt about 5k miles ago so it's not the original and might be able to handle some more wear and tear. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

 

my friend stock power will kill the converter. upgrade the converter and valve body and you will be good to go.

Alrighty. Thanks guys! Is ATS really all that good for TC's? I've seen a lot more people with sun coast and gorend and I feel ATS is way over priced.

Or I wouldn't even mind that super single from diesel dawgs. Will it really hold up to 500 horse?

 

i run an ats 5 star and have nothing bad to say about it. overpriced YES so are most of the rest of them but there are very good single disks out there for $500 or less
