Default Leveling kit help

Going with a 2.5" leveling kit, Do I need new Shocks? les schwab is telling me I dont need them. But Iv seen it both ways you need them you dont need them. Whats best for my truck always New I know but in cost saving can you get by with stock ones for the same ride, or just best to get new shocks? Thanks for any help

stock ones will work put the travel is now limited. so if you hit a big pot hole or drove down in a ditch or something the shocks are now your limiting strap which is BAD! if you never ever plan on having the truck off the paved road you will notice no difference. but you will kill them very quickly and notice the limiting factor if you take it anywhere else.

I would just get a set of lift shocks. You can pick up a set of Ranchos for about 100 bucks!
