That does not look anything like what my brother's dodge has. I looks like this: dodge fuel solenoid pull cable - Bing Images we clamped the end of the cable at the end of the square rod you will see in the pic. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't see anything like the part in the video you showed me.

Yeah the bottom of what you showed me connects to the lever in the vid. I don't have the shutoff solenoid on the one in the vid.. But it just bolts to the AFC and the bottom of it slides over the pin on the lever in the vid and that's all there is to it.

you can get a new solenoid for about $80.00 and it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to install and you don't have the "I fix my truck with duct tape and wire hangers, so i have beer money" look.
