Oh and mine is a 99 auto ext can 174000 miles gauges and chip that's it.new plugs and mirrors.

Well the guy thought nit picking every little thing on my truck made his far superior than mine and I didn't even look at his truck so that kind of lead me to believe he had things he was hiding so I wasted a whole day

I found a 97 the guy said the tps us bad in.how hard are they to replace?

Easy fix, probably just clean and set to proper voltage then good to go.
