Default My Guess..

My guess, and this is only a guess, is the owner either can't or won't deal with it either, for whatever reason. Even doing it yourself, just the parts for the rear is probably going run up to well over a grand, maybe more depending what it needs. Throw in a set of tires, whatnot and if your paying labor it could easily be approaching $4-5k to get it properly set up for the road.

But definitely worth it, for somebody wanting that type truck, methinks....

Go back and drive it. Put one wheel off the pavement into some grass and mash the gas!

If that wheel spins you're in good shape........MAYBE.......but a good posi or locker will do the same thing so.........

THEN, take it around a corner and turn the steering wheel ALL the way till it stps. If the rear end doesn't hop on you he doesn't know what a spool is and it's not there!

Or you could jack it up and spin one tire and see if the other one spins the same direction and save the guy his yard.

Well noone has come up with the change for my truck for the 97, but I found a guy that wants to trade me his 99 ext cab cummins, looks real clean but has 215,000 miles, rebuilt trans a year ago new high output injection pump, and lift pump, also hd components in the trans and shift kit with precision torque converter and exhaust.

Is this a steal?-imageuploadedbytapatalk1329538785.097791.jpg.
