Ok, this is a few questions in one thread. I noticed the other day there isnt a tube on the breather coming off the tappet cover on my new truck. Sometimes I can smell the venting in the cab and it makes me sick. Can I put a hose on that, route it past the starter and zip tie it to the frame to prevent the smell and oil from running down the block? What diameter hose do I need? Second, this truck I bought supposedly had a "rebuilt" motor. If I lay under the truck, I can see a pretty steady stream of white haze coming out of the vent. Now, I know vacuum leaks can cause venting through here, and my cruise nor HVAC controls work so I know I have one, but would a vacuum leak really cause THAT much steam/smoke to vent out? I havent really noticed that much of an oil loss...and where it does run down the block its just a few drips now and then but Id rather not have oil everywhere so when I do get a leak I can find one...help appreciated in advance sorry for the long thread.
