Default Redneck exhaust system :)

i built an exhaust set up. its very plain jane and aluminized, but it sure sounds good! i cut off the cat and muffler and stepped it up to 4". the muffler i used is more or less a glasspack, it is straight through with louvres in the wall of the pipe. i ran a 4" elbow and dumped in front of the rr wheel. i used a freightliner trick and put a couple self tapping screws in the joints before i put the step clamps on so they wont turn as i have no hanger supporting the weight of the elbow so she has some twisting force on it right now. im going to make a support hanger for the tip when i get a chrome turndown for the tailpipe in the next few weeks

i got the muffler, the custom bent elbow and the step clamps from a company here in town called steer tech. they are a great bunch of guys and they also rebuild steering boxes, but they can bend/weld anything exhaust related and also do custom stainless exhaust. i dont know how big they can bend but they specialize in truck stuff, and i would not at all be suprised if they made the muffler in house. my total cost with hanger brackets i made from stuff i bought at a hardware store was around $180

i lost my cord from my phone so i will take some more pics with my camera and post them shortly hopefully (im actully working right now). i wish i had taken a pic of the inside of the muffler before i put it on but i didnt think of it. i attached some zip files with mp3s in them they work on my computer but when i download them off this thread it says their invalid. sorry

heres some pics and sound clips: you will have to download the clips and rename them to *.mp3 files to get them to work. you might have to turn "hide file extensions" off to see the extension to change it from *.txt. i know thats a pain but it didnt like my zip files before.

there was snow on the ground so i couldnt get a WOT sound clip unfortunately
