Transmission first! I effed myself on this one Do a search and find the free mods. plenty around there. And a bigger exhaust, if stalk, will help.

The transmission is a good place to start. If thats all set then you may want to invest in a good intake/exhaust. Then Id bump up your timing a little bit

Doesn't maxing the starwheel require a lot of boost to move the arm which means it's restricting fuel??

Upgrade the trans first. I know it's not as much fun as making more power but it's for sure a worthwhile investment. I would start with a good shift kit with billet servo and accumulator. I'm happy with the kit I got from DTT, I like it better than the Transgo kits. That will set you back around $370. After that I would suggest saving up a little more funds and picking up a billet triple disk converter. After doing a LOT of research I ended up going with a rebuilt triple from DPC (Diesel Performance Converters) and couldn't be happier. It's a night and day difference between a stock converter and a triple.

How high are your egt's getting?
