Default 94 cummins fueling question.

First off, hello! I am new to the 12valve but not new to diesels. I work for full force diesel and we do mainly powerstrokes. I have been doing a lot of reading on here about turning up the fuel on this truck some, well I have ground the fuel plate to a "100" profile and moved it towards the radiator and rotated the star wheel towards the engine some also I have the waste gate un hooked for now. I am not looking for smoke, but I would have guessed I would have some at take off and I have none. The trucks power went up some but not much. Am I missing something? I am going to have it timed and I have a boost/pyro/trans temp gauges that I am putting in tonight. The truck has 510,000 miles on it and is an auto, I know the milage is a little on the high side so I am wondering if that is most my issue. I can pull and test injectors here at the shop if I need to and I was going to put a fuel pressure gauge on it.

I am looking to make sure there is not something I need to fix, not a fan of the truck smoking a bunch.

4k govoner springs. check all your filters for gunk and proper fuel pressures. but the best mod you can do to you pump is gov springs.

Thanks for the info! I have looked at doing springs already, just the auto is probably not going to like it. I also thought about advancing the timing to 16* and see if that would help. The valves could use to be adjusted I'm sure also!
