Building Bigger now looking at Injectors and Meth
Hey Bombers, Got the bug bad! In a couple weeks this is what my machine is going to look like.
97 12 V, aFe Power Blade Runner Intake, Cold Air Box, aFe 4" Full Length Exhaust, DDP Fuel Plate pushed all the way forward to #10, Exhaust Brake, Torque Convertor Lock, Georend Trans with 3 Clutch Billet Convertor, Flex Plate, Billet Input Shaft, on the way, CPP 5x.012 Injector Tips on order, 60# Springs for the exaust valves, 4k GSK, Rack Plug, 7 Gal Methenol / Water Injector for the extra 100 HP and less EGT after the new tubes and GSK.
Question, should I put 60# springs with billit keepers on all valves or is the exaust enought, and how much influence will this have on the camshaft? I notice a lot of billit Cams out there, makes me wonder if the stock cams can handle the extra pressure.
Concern, a 4K GSK suggests Red Line which at factory is 3k. What are the risks here if any save of course blowing the head off or discovering a new place for the oil to leave the block.
Thanks for you time,
Craig

ought to put the 60's on all of them while your in there. the cam will be abolutly fine. 60 lbs springs are still babies. the pistons chase the exhaust up is why the heavier springs are needed. intakes can float and not hit athing. no need for keepers. not enough RPM's or seat pressure. and the truck will stay together fine with 4ks it wont but if it could you wouldnt want to hold the rpms at 4100 ish the harmonics would destroy things.
