well timing and pumps tweaks are free, youll need to borrow a timing gauge or timing tape from somewhere though

well theres alot of diff. answers there some ppl will say 1 degree on stock truck then others will crank em on up farther than that, heavy mods ive set em as high as 24 degrees on a street driven truck. if its pretty much stock i like 17 to 18 degrees base timing. you can play around with it and see where it runs best, gauges are a big help in determining a good number.

free or almost free mods.
- grind a plate
- tune your afc
-shim your gov springs or (spend the cash on some 4ks if youve got it. ABSOLUTE night and day different truck. PROMISE!
-get a boost elbow so you can run low 30's lbs of boost
-while your in the afc do the washer flip mod or get fender washers and grind the foot.
-a mack plug is like $12 that adds sever ponies at WOT
-good intake and exhaust (money of coarse
-and at this point your tranny is going to start hating you.

the fuel plate is a #0.. i turned the star gear all the way up and did the afc screw out just abit to where it feels good.. also i plugged the wastegate on the turbo.. and i got a manual with a upgraded clutch so i dont have to worry to much.. ive looked into 4k springs and havent heard about the mack plug.
