97 dodge 5.9
I have a 97 dodge 1 ton. 5.9 5speed manual. It runs fine except starts good ect. the thing is it just will not go over 80 up without lots of flat road. .i know its only 180hp and i live on penison which is discusting to say the least. I hear there are many things you can do that dont cost to much. do you think there is something just out right wrong first off or is this the way its suppost to run.i have had it 8 yrs. and its always ran like this except it use to reach 90 no problem. can any one help .thanks frustrated!!!

the factory govenor spring cuts fueling at 2300 rpm. a 4k govenor spring allows the pump to fuel to 4k. but u need 60 lb valve springs to turn more the 3200 rpm. there is also a 3k govenor spring kit....i like my 4k fuels alot harder.
