My Spicer 70 does really well off road, but I don't even get one tire fire right off the line. No chirp or anything. I don't think I have to worry about a locker since it doesn't even spin one right now

if i floor it from a stop.... when the boost builds (about 5mph) the rears spin the 4k is by far the best bang for the buck. and there easy to install.

its not suprising u arnt seeing any performance out of a truck that wont spin over 2200 rpm

Yeah, I'm surprised that the guy that owned the truck before me had some of the things done without upgrading the governor springs at all. And yeah, it is straight gutless after like 2100-2200. I'm hoping that the spring install will wake this truck up quite a bit especially since I already have most of the basic stuff done. I was suprised at how small the gsk was when I took the springs out of the box. They just look way bigger in the product pics

Holy Hell!!! I just installed the 4K GSK and just WOW!!! It is an entirely new truck. You guys were right. I put on a new OFV as well since it was old as dirt and looked like it had seen better days when I stretched the spring.

Now the truck feels like I hoped it did all along. Taking the old springs out was a little strange. The nuts didn't even have a solid click on them. I literally backed them off by hand. Zero pressure on the springs or the retaining nuts. No wonder I was getting nothing for fuel especially up top. I don't think anyone had been in there before though. The tamper proof safety wire was still installed over the plug and back around the pump......

Anyways, I am glad my truck finally pulls like it should. Now I just have to get a new boost gauge cause the 30psi isspro I have now just doesn't cut it. I hit 30psi without even going full throttle now whereas before it would hit 25psi only under full load ad WOT on the freeway.

Anyways, thanks guys for the advice
